Education of employees of CIUR a.s.
Thanks to the European Social Fund, our company CIUR a.s. was able to to implement the Employee Education subsidy program in the operational program Employment, registration number CZ.03.1.52/0.0/0.0/16_043/0004608.
CIUR a.s. is a company that ranks among the European and world leaders in the production of high-quality cellulose fibers from recycled paper. To maintain high quality standards, the company provides its employees with regular expert and professional trainings, which are prepared based on an analysis of educational needs. Training for employees across the company is included in the project, and two employees of the company’s partners are also involved.
Experimental verification of the usability of Wolf PhoneStar TRI acoustic plates
Thanks to the European Fund for Regional Development, our company CIUR a.s. was able to to implement the research project of Wolf PhoneStar TRI acoustic boards, registration number CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/16_045/0010634.
The project focuses on the area of improving the sound insulation properties of masonry partitions. The goal of the project will be to verify the applicability of Wolf PhoneStar TRI acoustic panels for improving the soundproofing properties of brick partitions. The demands for acoustic well-being inside buildings continue to increase with the development of society. Wolf PhoneStar TRI acoustic boards are one of the suitable solutions to the problem of sound transmission as acoustic insulation to ensure acoustic comfort in buildings. Experts from CIUR a.s. and UCEEB CTU in Prague will collaborate on the solution.
Internal insulation research project UdiIN RECO
Long-term thermal and humidity behaviour of the internal insulation system
Thanks to the European Fund for Regional Development, our company CIUR a.s. was able to to implement the internal insulation research project UdiIN RECO registration number CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/16_045/0007833.
The aim of the project is to experimentally verify the long-term thermal and humidity behavior of the internal insulation system UdiIN RECO on a full-scale test sample of brickwork with a beam ceiling in real climatic conditions in the experimental center UCEEB CTU in Prague and to optimize this system for use in the Czech Republic (climatic conditions, technical requirements) using modern computing methods. This project is financed with the support of the EU.
Test and measurement project for the development of innovative CB enclosures
Research tests and measurements for the development of innovative cement concrete road covers using developed fibers
From 2021, the company is implementing a project with the number CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/20_358/0026317 and the title “Research tests and measurements for the development of innovative cement-concrete road covers using developed fibers”. The aim of the presented project is to carry out the necessary research tests and measurements (including the preparation of a research report) for the development of cement-concrete covers (CBK) of roads from the point of view of increasing the durability of this material. Part of the research activity is the creation of a functional methodology for determining the durability of cement-concrete covers with an emphasis on the subsequent reproducibility of this testing method for the continuation of this research in the future.
Test and measurement project for the development of new remediation methods
Research tests and measurements for the development of new rehabilitation methods for desalination of masonry
Since 2020, the company has been implementing a project with the number CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/18_215/0021613 and the title “Research tests and measurements for the development of new rehabilitation methods for desalination of masonry”. The aim of the presented project is to carry out the necessary research tests and measurements (including the preparation of a research report) for the development of new remedial methods for desalination of masonry using sprays from mixtures containing cellulose fibers based on the company’s secondary raw materials and to study the behaviour of the structure after the application of this spray, including thickness design and other requirements for spraying. Furthermore, it will be a study of the transport of moisture and salts in the structure and in the spray after its application, and diagnostics of wetting and salinity of the structure before and after the application of the spray.

Research tests and measurements for the development of new cement composites using the applicant’s fibers
Since 2019, the company CIUR a.s. has been implementing a project with the number CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/18_215/0019672 and the title “Research tests and measurements for the development of new cement composites using the applicant’s fibers”. The aim of the presented project is to obtain individual development reports with the aim of achieving a summary research report following the activities of the service provider. The specific subject of the BUT service provided is the execution of the necessary research tests and measurements (including the preparation of a research report) for the development of new cement composites using the applicant’s fibers based on secondary raw materials and research on their behaviour in building structures.
